I grew up in a musical family and got my first electric guitar at age 10…
Started a garage band in junior high school and played in a regional touring southern rock band through college ... I had many early musical influences including the Beatles, of course, and then back and forth from Southern Rock (Allman Bros, Skynard, Eagles…) to Motown (Earth Wind Fire, Ohio Players, Marvin Gaye…) and eventually gravitated to the laid back acoustic 'singer-songwriter' genre... Neil Young, Crosby Stills Nash, Carole King.... my all time favorite was James Taylor. Nowadays, I perform a variety of music including songs of the 70's and 80's as well as some standards and country...
Currently, I'm working on a James Taylor tribute project (check out my videos)...I love to play and sing and for me, some kind of music seems like the place I'll always be... 🙂
